| Duties: | Identification of Chamber & community needs and challenge
Preparation and implementation of the Strategic Plan
Meet or exceed budgeted financial metrics
Grow member investment, partnerships and non-dues revenue
Recruit, train, supervise, and develop Chamber staff members
Promote growth, retention, and expansion of existing member businesses
Serve as the chief spokesperson on the Chamber’s advocacy issues
Manage and inspire committee members and other volunteers to achieve goals set forth in the Strategic Plan.
Prepare and implement Visit Kilgore marketing plan
Manage the promotion of Visit Kilgore
Manage and coordinate events/programs |
| Experience Required: | Applicant must possess, at minimum, 5-years of Chamber experience, in addition to education in a related filed such as marketing/public relations, finance management, communications, event planning, chamber management or business management.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. |
